whenever I have a tinker in my team as Dire he always stack the closest big camp along with the mid camp using March. Sometimes only the bigcamp.
You cannot leave the lane to start ancients, you lose too much, unless you're already getting zoned out and cant stay in lane/afraid of ganks/etc you could gone for ancients.
You lose 1 melee creep kill worth of exp and gold and 1 potential deny. In exchange you get 1 stack of w/e u stack be it ancienta or big camp. If camp not blocked, I'd say worth it.
Lol I was actually going to post about this after practicing with tinker in some bot games. Dire tinker seems to be way more handicapped, but I want people's take on how and when to rotate with tinker.
e.g. Push mid lane with march at :xx. Start walking to camp at :xx. Stack then move back to mid.
This is not about safety though, it's about efectivenesss. Stack jungle or Ancient as Tinker as Dire.
Just get your supports/offlaner to do it. lolz

Assuming you and the enemy mid are exactly equal in skill. Would it be right to say jungle is better for Dire?
In the Radiant side, by 6-7 mins you can easily get 4 Ancient stacks up AND clear/stack the large/medium jungle camps thrice. On the other hand, you give up so much if you try to lane mid in Dire.
Or is there a reason why mid would still be good as a Dire Tinker?? Lets assume people attempt to fuck your Dire jungle 1 in 4 games.
