my friend told me that heroes and generals (f2p on steam) is cool. i never tried it, but its pretty new.
Guild wars 2 does not have monthly fees, just upfront cost to buy the game.
I have not played eso but I hear it's awesome. It does have monthly subscription.
The last remnant is really fun, I used to love all the square enix games but played them to death.
Heroes and Generals is an excelent game, but the community is trash. And no, I'm not talking about rude people or anything like that, just dumb kids who have no idea of what playing the objective is and that only care about kills.
^Well it's certainly not bad...the only problem is that you actually need to know 39 other competent players.
wow thnx for suggestions so far.
I've played path of exile but its trash(imo, so don't flame me pls)
Archeage looks awesome I'll give it a try.
The last remnant is also nice but its squad based and its not for me.
Heroes and generals is a mmofps so no
Happy wars-no
wildstar- now this really looks interesting, I'll definetly give it a try
wildstar this shit looks ussum ;o
but mb its only the trailer
50e tho
I trade my GW2 game for this one if anyone interested
I thought that Wildstar had a subscription fee too.
GW2 is a good one for fighting.
Aion if you like farming.
Rift if you like WoW-type MMOs.
i have registered for an archeage beta key, now i'll just have to wait to receive it(that's if i do ever receive it)
"I thought that Wildstar had a subscription fee too."
It does...but you can get around it with the credd system or whatever...basically an in-game thing you can buy from another player that is looking to score in-game currency.
i actually played lol for the past few days with some friends i dont find it that bad. its just that most players are kids with down syndrome that are more toxic than 4k players
nowadays mmos mean generic quests and less pvp
i tried archeage yesterday and was so disappointed, so fucking boring i had to uninstall it after i got lvl 11
runescape is actually good if u like hardcore and autistic grind its very rewarding for players who does tho
"tera vs vindictus?
i can't decide"
Vindictus, hands down. At least until Black Desert. Tera half-assed the hell out of the combat system.
No one plays ESO?
I downloaded vindictus a couple months ago, haven't played it yet. It looks cool.
Path of exile is an ARPG so very different from an mmorpg. Like diablo. Not for everyone.
ive been playing defiance recently its mmofps on steam average console port to pc fun pvp tho
By the way, on the rights of off-topic, if you like Path of Exile, you should totally try out greatest mode for Diablo II - Median XL.
It's not quite multiplayer game (it is there, but it lacks balance), but it's by far the best single player grinding game I ever played. Amount of content is insane. I was playing it for about a year at least one hour per day, managed to get about 85% of end-level content, provoked a nerf of the class I was playing and discovered (or at least first spoke about) major exploit in the game - Laz was like "you bitches all were silently doing that, right?".
Ah, sweet ol' times... Try it. Srsly.
"Aion if you like farming."
Is this free to play now? I bought it when it first came out and did my one month sub. Didn't really like it. It seemed like a korean style wow clone but with extremely poor balance like my cleric or whatever couldn't kill anything. Is it any better now?
^yes it is
I installed WoW back again. Damn this games is pulling me back. I was considering to go for ArcheAge but it's in closed beta D:
I heard that vindictus hasn't got much endgame, it's repetitive, you have do dungeons solo.
On the other hand my experience with tera was nice, but it takes time to lvl up, and i have framerate issues.
*sigh, why cant i make a poll? i am really undecided.
Well duh wow always pulls you back in at first cus it's really fun until you realize you are doing the same shit 20 hours a week just to try and raid one new boss once a week. Leveling up and first time through dungeons in wow is awesome but it becomes all about gear late game. Not much skill involved.
"I heard that vindictus hasn't got much endgame, it's repetitive, you have do dungeons solo."
If you're talking about end-game like wow where all the content is completely focused on the level cap with 2 dungeons during the leveling, then yea, it's absent. Vindictus' endgame starts at 60, even though the level cap is 80. The end-game season 1 raids are at 60, the end-game season 2 dungeons/raids start at 70. Most content can be pubbed yes, but a smooth run will require a guild, especially if you want the special objective loot.
As for "have to do dungeons solo", this is due to the fact that you CAN solo the dungeons and most people tend to slow the run down, especially if they're ignorant of their character/lazy about gear/generally bad as the content scales with the player count(though if both or more players are competent, the run WILL be faster. 2 players 33% more health(66.5 each), 3 players 73% more health(57.6 each), 4 players 126% more health(56.5 each)). Not to mention dungeons are pretty damned easy until the second town /shrug
EDIT: also, every mmo is repetitive. It comes with the territory.
