the same happened to me, i played again from a 4 month break and calibrated at 5550, went to 5700 and then dropped to 5k3 in 3 days
I'm beginning to regain my mmr by only playing 1 hero per position, the one i'm the most confortable with (which is necro) even though he isn't in the meta AT ALL

how do people even lose so much? I maximum get like 3 lose streak then games become so easy
Play Limited Pool of Comfort heroes. When I lose more then 10 games in a row I will pick 3 heroes and play them until I get the MMR back or a little more. heroes I enjoy playing whether I win or lose.
