How about Sven if you want to carry teams easily? It's a braindead hero but effective considering you'd be 'skilled' with it knowing how ez it is.

I dont play slark, but I use to play aoe damage dealers and heavy dissable supports, kind of his counter. Still pretty hard to take down wen the player is cold headed and the hero has a little bit of farm and lvls.
You only need to learn to correctly farm and take the fights you know you can win... And have a team that doesnt feed vry much.

Yeah, Slark can carry in any bracket, even in 5K, a decent Slark player is hard to deal with, but a good one (cough* like me Kappa) can be cancer to deal with, then you'll have people all chatting how broken he is everytime you play him.
Try Sven, Life stealer is still good too, but Sven, jeez, he's a monster.
Lifestealer and slark if you do party have your friend play life he buys fast deso then armlet you sb he goes in you boom easy to kill 2 people
and slark really benefits from the minus armor.

Slark is great but void and timbersaw are kind of shit to play against. If they pick that, Clinkz is good if you play him well and it suits your playstyle. Bloodthorn eats Timber and void. Just Just my two cents
No hero will bring you out of a certain bracket, skill will. Spamming an fotm-hero will only get you there faster, given you are actually higher skilled than your bracket.
Don't play Sven, being experienced from climbing from 1-3.5k recently you do not want a hero that is reliant for space. If you're team is getting destroyed he can't catch up untill he gets a good item, Once the map is controlled by the enemy team his farm is gone. Yes Slark is good because all you need is a shadowblade and it's free mmr in 2kmmr. I just recently got a rampage on slark with only a shadowblade as my item

Dude this is normal skill. Look at the AM hero damage and tower damage, notice that the AM wasn't useful at all in proportion to his potential with those items, prob'ly farming all game... That and Slark's teammates were not feeders and good/decent as well. Can't attribute that precise win to Slark alone and so I doubt that such performance (from what we see @ his match) will let him climb the ladder easily (however he will probably improve)
Yea he did. But to rly climb the MMR he probably should be capable of winning when your teammates are bad(feeder or just getting outplayed) and the enemy's decent, not the other way around.
Everyone can win fair fights, not everyone climb MMR.

Thats true, however s ome heroes really have less dependency on their team, at least in NS. Experienced split pushers/rats (like ember am meep np tinker alch spec pl, even wk and others) could just win games independently if enemy team is disorganised.(odds are that it will be disorganised)
For actual normal skill players, sure.
If you are actually experienced you could surely win heaps against NS masses using those heroes despite them being not so noob friendly(rly farm reliant and timing, micros). Provided the draft is favorable, at least.
Also mentioned am just because his blink allows easy escape after taking objective.

slark is kind the easiest hero to play, you can always shadowblade and run regen.
the tips is, don't let them FF you, you let your team fight and you find the easiest hero to catch behind usually support. while team fight happens on the other way, if the support dead move to the lowest HP one. and don't hesitate to use shadow dance even just to kill support, you won't know anything that can happened. and max first skill, 2nd, and 3rd nevre max 3rd skill first, i see stupid people build it like that.
personally i like shadow blade more than blink cause slark have purge that can purge dust, and he benefit from the 30 atk sped

I am currently 2.7k in Season MMR. I just want to ask if Slark is a good hero to carry a team of misfits. I also like playing Weaver. Basically anything that is slippery and hard to catch.
Suggestions for other heroes that can carry better than Slark is welcomed.
