i think it reduces an enemy's armor by 7 for 15 seconds when you hit them with it.

I think it used to be called "Stygian Desolator" and now it was dumbed down to just "Desolator".

Core for Dazzle

The best item in the game IMO.

I only buy it on TA/Clinkz/Weaver. But its quite slot and cost inefficient so i throw it away for better luxuries

Red orb circling around you does seem pretty

looks great with arctic clinkz or arctic ta mod especially with high AS

Extremely effective on a pos 3 Riki when you have physical hitters that also attack entire enemy team at once. Like Medusa, Sven, Witch Doctor and such. Especially when you got medalion, them spps almost dropping from 1 Tricks of the Trade hit.

this item, is cool on dota 1, have orb effect and the image is cool.

i think this is the best item in game that enhance the damage more further of carry.

The damage item to buy on supports when game goes full retard.

Good for heroes who suffer from damage ouput

blink is better cuz u can blink frostbite to initiate ganks or blink in the trees and then ult in teamfights its also cheaper. I only build deso only when I play naix/ta

please valve delete it from item list of LC
it drives me crazy when i see this on LC by 3-4 slot, instead of item that makes here more durable or bkb/linken
it's useless on LC, you will dye after geting disabled.

i believe this item is good if you need damage and armor reduction ^_^

@dissolution no i also think that this item gives a debuff for enemy heroes, when they are hit, it gives minus armor
