It isn't bad to pick kotl, he's really good right now. It is bad though, to get BoT with him every game. And Dagon? Seriously?

he is one of the most picked/banned heroes in pro scenes, and he is a rly great hero, antipusher, fast pusher, mana fountain, split push enhancer(using recall ofc), and also somehow an anticarry to the enemy team unless they have some magic immunity (bkb/rage,etc)

exactly, dagon, BTs, all these retarded items r shitty, but still not more shitty than a kotl with deadalus + mkb, and with 10 attack speed, hitting once every 2 hours, happened to me, where someone guy wanted to go carry kotl, while i was playing some carry hero..

Ouch, that really sucks. BoT on kotl isn't thaaaaat bad though, but it's situational. If you wanna take down those towers easily, BoT instead of Tranquils can be a better choice. It's still situational though.

You can farm anything with Kotl, but team support items are the best choice. I once won a game jungling with kotl, got radience, then hex, dagon 5, eblade...very stupid build, most games that plan would fail, but it worked that time because my team was just better.

i am just saying, like getting meka 2 minutes earlier, like instead of 20, get it at 17-18, u get better ffights, and BT only very situational as u said, and instead of dagon lvl 5, u can get hex, forcestaff, and maybe somethiing like a plate mail or ghost scepter for more survivability..
in pubs u can do wutever u want, even players who go BT dagon build get games than the ones who go normal support build, tranquil>meka>forcestaff>hex>other staff and ofc no need to mention wards

Yeah I only recently started going dagon because I find it fun, most people try and get a jump on me because they know kotl is squishy and it turns out to be quiet funny when I manage to 1v1 a carry.

I only usually go support items if we need it, but as it's pub and I play with friends we rarely ever run in to people we have trouble with, so I can just free farm and push towers with BoT and get a fast level 5 dagon which is really strong when your opponents are around level 11-15.
