Well this is interesting, on one side you've got a smurf 5 man stacking and circle picking slark/naix/gyro in retard bracket to inflate his win rate and thinks that makes him good and on the other side you've got an anime nerd who has a 4 hero pool and 5 man stacks every game as well (same shit basically) while having sand in his vagina because the former is kicking him down the top win rate list.
the amount of stupidity from the autistic anime nerds who barely speak proper English (i arrr asian!!) while they remain in the United States of America and leeching of the American tax money is funny, how many of you autistic nerds have gotten your hands dirty or done anything useful besides finding matches as 5 in American servers for 10 hours daily when literally nobody in "your" (you're still not American and will never be) region can play this game properly (references: EG, T.Liquid etc).
The fact that you buy HoM and other bullshit items on Puck in the SAME EXACT ORDER tells me how stupid players can really be in "your" region so don't go full damage control on me.
tl;dr asians trying to grow their e-penis with anime pics in their avatar
edit: I just checked some of their profiles and two of them live in Europe, be happy I pay my taxes to feed your 'kind'.
why are you all crying about stacking y'all doing it
only difference is that the weaboo stack has some people that can actually play dota and don't have to make new accounts every 30 games or lock the same 5 heroes
because facing the same amount of retarded players (USE and USW have the dumber ones) and building the same type of items every game is a big accomplishment, take the dick out of your ass
no it's not, what decent stacks are there in eu MM? the 4FC stack or d3xt3r+wisp player stack or what? or the swiftending stack lmao or the funn1k stack that randoms every game
theres like at least 5 times as many decently skilled players in eu compared to US but that doesn't make the top level games any better
and how'd u know that anyway the highest you've ever gotten was page 50 of dota tv then you made a new account
servers a joke just like every mouth breathing overweight faggot smoking neckbeard who plays on there.
even give them server advantage and they still get firstblooded.
He's just bitter that he's being pushed down the win rate list by euro smurfs who put in half the effort. Hell he calls that guy trash while his buddies supercell and murs had lower win rate on their smurfs than he has and he plays 4 heroes lmao
guys i win euro with wisp troll they bad all look i pwn singsing + kharesee stack so good xDxDXD
Winning the highest % of 200 games with a smurf stack is an accomplishment. It's not nearly as impressive as getting the highest team MMR. And that in turn is not nearly as impressive and actually beating pro teams in a tournament for $$$. But each objective still has some value and is difficult to achieve.
You can tell it really is hard to do because even with all the excellent players attempting to top that list, still no one was able to go 201-0. Mostly the high level of difficulty comes making practically no mistakes for 200 games. The team MMR however reflects the personal MMR of the players on the team, which means they had to all play against legitimate Very High pub stacks and win on an extremely consistent basis. If you look at the match history of players on SailorMoon you will see they often play and defeat stacks of multiple pro players in pub games.
However there is another level of difficulty that comes when a team of pro players who play and practice together on a team is trying to win with $$$ an reputation on the line. Winning games in a pro tournament is even more impressive than that team MMR stat. I know many of you think this is all obvious, but not everyone who reads the forum knows this or even follows pro dota at all.
Why do you feel the need to announce to the dota world your poor reading skills? I'm just curious about the psychology of people who do this. I'm sure plenty of people skip over long posts for lots of reasons...but to take the extra time to tell everyone that you were not capable of reading a couple hundred words...there was a time when this fact would have been extremely embarrassing, in fact most adults would still consider it extremely embarrassing and take a great pains to hide their disability from scrutiny.
Since this is the case I'm left with the puzzle of why someone would (A) bother to lie about it or (B) actually want others to know they can't read? Either seems very strange.
I can make do with this format. They basically lost their main income source to Valve. Unless and until they can come up with something else that works...I'm just happy to have a forum uncluttered by flashing images and uncorrupted by moderators. Full free expression always favors legitimate thoughts because people are attracted to them naturally. On forums with administrative controls however trolls can get into moderator positions and it can become a solid mass of garbage. But even the trolls have their place, they can be amusing. Sometimes their irrational and bumbling attempts to express their puerile thoughts can be inspirational as well.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back to the subject of the thread however. I would really love to see more top pub players like those in SailorMoon get their chance to prove themselves against real pro teams. I hope some of you are following the play-in qualifiers, the "open" tournamets, as well. Before The Defense begins every season for instance there are such qualifiers and hundreds of pub stacks try to play into a qualifier spot.
This time for The Defense 4 Next.KZ, el'Pride, and Kieta-gaming, all well known tier 3 pro teams fought their way through a pool of over 500 pub stacks to have a chance at the main tournament. I really enjoy seeing new teams come up through these qualifier tournaments. If you want to see people try totally different ways of winning dota games that is the best place to do it.
Most of the top pub stack players are far better than the lower ranked shitfest teams like the ones Relentless just mentioned, but just like the players in OP's team, they don't want to go pro because its a big commitment without much of a financial reward unless you are no.1, why would they leave uni and their degree or stable job or something for that?
Also the players in the team in the OP all have links to most of the top US/EU pro teams.
You are correct that the main reason they do not go pro is the RISK. I want to encourage them to take that risk. College is worth very little to most people in the long run. Its a racket that forces countless millions to pay professional self-important know-it-alls to lecture them on...mostly lies. The real value of any college degree is proving to large companies that don't have any real understanding of how to judge people that you are someone willing to stick to working at a long (4 years+maybe), difficult, tedious, and nearly pointless set of tasks. That is what the company wants you to do for them most of time so the fact that you get a college degree proves you can do it.
No matter what you do work is work. It pays the bills. The best you can expect is to do tasks that make you feel like you have accomplished something and to work with people you like. I believe that for someone who can play dota well enough to get 5k+ team ratings there is a significant chance they could be a professional dota player...and its probably a dream job for them. I would hate for them to miss that opportunity and all the fans to miss the thrill of watching them play.
The fact is more and more opportunities will be opening up in the area of professional dota. Its not going away unless some apocalypse destroyes modern civilization. It will grow and become a viable profession as many sports are today. In the early decades of every professional sport there was a period of time when players had poor job security and did not make enough money to compare to "real" jobs. Often they had to work a different job in the off season and make enough money to live...but someone has to do that ground breaking work and there is no reason you can't be a part of it if you have the talent...which players on a 5k team really do.
Unlike other pro sports however, there is a good chance that you will still be even more capable of playing in 10 or 20 years than you are now. Professional musicians are able to play almost indefinitely. Fingers do not wear out if you take proper care of them, unlike legs and backs and arms...pro sports players have a very limited window to make their money, but a pro dota player will follow the pattern of a professional musician. They will still be able to work all their life.
swiftending i think the point is that the way the new guy got on the % list is pretty shameless
getting 90%+ in 200 games is actually fairly hard
getting 90%+ when u five stack, pick comp lineups with wisp, have all ur friends smurf so u stay in low mmr, and play on the easiest server is not hard
i'd like the top games list changed to 1000 or 1500 games though, i don't know if i'd even be on it on this account but it would be something a little more tangible to work towards and mean more
Well yeah but like 80% of the list is polluted by smurf 200-500 game accounts, only a few legit ones in there so this guy isn't much different. Instead of making smurfs to let off some steam and stomp the retard bracket with shit like sniper, people now make smurfs to try and get into top win rate. And that's easier to do with 5 smurf accounts, why would he play with 1500 games accounts and get into page 1-10 games instantly if he can do the same on his main acc? It just makes it harder to win games and if he cares about being in top 5 win rate so much he's prolly looking for the easiest way to do it, aka resetting mmr by remaking accounts. Not like it showcases skill or anything like that, he just likes flaunting his e-peen around with it just like you like flaunting yours with #1 team MMR (while in reality both mean nothing).
Win rate actually just represents the amount of games people stack, how much they care about winning, and individual skill the least. I didn't win 65% of my games because I'm better than Dendi, I won them because I didn't allow Valve MM to stack 3 imbeciles in my team and force me to 50% win. Same for you and everybody else I'd say
are you implying that the games you play are hard?
it's actually kinda embarrassing that people brag with winrates and shit like that when they actually stack and try so hard that their team could essentially win the game 4v5 and that goes for every server(excluding SEA idk about that one)
picking heroes like wisp, troll and now tree or other heroes with the same effect was actually kinda frowned upon but people are fucking shameless now and pick those heroes repeatedly even when they keep getting matched against players that don't even give a fuck about winning and random and all
matchmaking ain't even working properly if you stack in top MMR
the only difference between EU and US is that if you queue up on US at certain times you'll get matched with the same players over and over again due to having less players and people got tired of this tryhard shit and started responding with forming their own stacks or just dodging or they just lose
while on eu you can get matched with people you've never heard of or people who just aren't adjusted to trying hard to win the game because that's actually not what most people think about when the game's starting
Idk what's with the euro hate when USA won't be in top 8 TI not even this year around. You seem to be in denial that you're superior in this game, well I hope I'll see team siren winning G1 next year
What a shame for a talented played like that to be earning as much from dota as little pepe from a banana farm in brazil who picks riki and goes 0-16 every game when he could be stomping shitty euros all day
Narrator (insert British accent here): "The beta tryhard anime stack faces a stiff challenge from their masters abroad. However, the butthurt Orients decided that it was no longer worth it and retreated back to their main accounts."
