You don't need to stack or play with friends to get into VH.
I played games solo, and I got into VH after like 150 games?
If you want to get into High tier you should probably focus on
csing better , kda, gpm, xp etc, probably everything counts.
Be more aggressive in your games in terms of kills , farms.

You also have quite a big difference in Radiant - Dire games like I do. dno why there's such a big difference

It's worth mentioning people can have a bunch of VH even if they blow by partying with a bunch of high skill friends. People can also have normal/high even if they are extremely high skill by queueing with low skill friends. The VH, H, and N assesses the skill level of the entire match, not the individual player.

For me Radiant wr is 50% while Dire wr is 49%, pretty even (where did that 1% go? :D)

Very High Game: Win +3, Loss -1
if you have negative, you only play in the Normal games.
if you have more than 10, you will go into Very High games.
everyone know we have one stupid 50% matchmaking system. so if you win 3-5/5 first games with new account, you could stay in High/Very High level forever, otherwise you will not move out from Normal level pool.

Why does the dota stats site show very detailed statistics for other people, but only shows win rate and game modes played for me?

i've played about 100 less games than you, and mostly only play dota when i drink, but i do stack and i'm still 100% normal too. But my friends and myself included still need a ton to do, position-wise, last htiting, understanding the more complicated heroes like invoker, meepo, etc that i'm ok still being in normal. Some friends still don't deny, some still click abilities, one really doesn't understand the items, especially situationally.

when i solo queue though, that's when i get pissed off. i play a 5 with my friends, but when i solo queue i like to go carry or a ganker and we're left with no hard support, someone who understands a carry needs the farm while you're there to pull, ward, deny, harass.

just get some friends, stack, and have fun. if you win awesome, if you lose less awesome. but have fun with friends. i'm a public announcement, and i'm here to tell you to have fun when you play dota.

Interesting website, but if I started an alt and played with VH people for a couple of rounds, i'd be stuck in VH after a few games, and 99% VH.

and @B2 , lol your wr is under 50. The only reason your KDA is high because you play like a chicken all game, your average kills per game is probably like 4, and you just try to die less, not taking risks. I assume you're not in VH.
