why both? wouldn't it delay your linkens?

and why none? i find it harder to stay in lane without one of them, especially aquila, the stats/damage it gives really helps.

imo just rush linkens/radiance/drums/desolator
I usually get basilius only if I start off with a ring of protection, but I don't rly buy a ring of aquila unless I am rly poor and it happens I get a wraith band
Mana reg + armor can help a bit early on
Basilius can help in pushing, just make sure to turn it off when u want to farm safely without pushing ur lane

if ur winning really hard, go medallion + deso and 2-3 hit ur enemies then watch ur enemies say (gg end we stay fountain). aquila usually good all-round with stats and mana regen for shikuchi spam. good for pushing too.

I get aqua cause it gives nice dmg, armor, and regen. so you can stay in lane and farm well, especially if you have to use your invis for escape a lot.

Aquila you need the man regen for 2nd.

Aquila would be my pick, but I understand why people would pick Medallion. BTW Sasha Grey, medallion gives about the same regen that you get from Aquila so... don't know what you're trying to say here.

After about level 11 Medallion is more mana regen. Aquila is actually less effective hp than Medallion. Seriously Aquilla adds 57 hp...the armor is a bigger deal.

The reason people tend to build Aquila first is it is easier to do from starting items. Medallion is actually superior at every other part of the game than the first 4 min or so. The dmg from Medallion continues to scale up all the way until you are 6 slotted. Near the end of the game using Medallion is the equivalent of adding about 100 dmg to your attacks. Even if you don't get Medallion early, get it later. It will make it possible for you to have some real dps despite the weakness of being a linkens carry.

Yeah i'm an aquila user too (built it in almost every game), but relentless does make a good point. Will try out some games with medallion i guess!

485 gold for 15 damage and abit more hp to lane and last hit better, why not?

i go aquilla since its ez to build besides i get scared of the minus armor whenever i use medallion

Aquila is better choice stats/regen/+armor for creeps weaver is rly good pusher bcos its hard to kill /medallion if you decide to do early rosh with team or vs rly tanky opponents

linkens is trash item
try medalion - drums - bkb/dps and i highly recommend bottle

Linkens have it's uses, specifically against people with large single target disables like Bat, Beast, doom (yes I know you can lvl death but you can usually shikuchi to get away.

yes linkens is good when u play 1v1 against heroes that have single target disables and no items

Just tried out the medallion weaver and its actually quite ridiculous haha, I've been practicing weaver a bit lately and bkb/linkens + deso is the absolute best on him just so much damage.

Personally I am not a big fan of aquilla, i can acknowledge it's use but I just am not sold on it. Medallion however is awesome.
