Bad luck i guess Sam, but Vaikiss has a point here. Your KDA ratings are not bad, but some other stats are getting in the way here and put you together with bad players. There is also possibility that you were the best player (in terms of skill) on your team and you were suppose to carry the game. It happens, do your best and ignore bad players. If you tell them they suck, they even suck more - you get the point :D
And btw - Vaikiss is a dick :) I've been seeying his flaming on many threads open atm, so just ignore craps like that.
1. Do you have a visible ranking yet? What is it? If it's between 0-2500, those types of players are prominent there.
2. Ranked MM is new, and certain players haven't been moved to their true brackets yet.
3. Even after your calibration, you will continue to be matched with players who are in the calibration phase.
Constructive feedback thanks. Libertarian I haven't done any Ranked stuff yet and I'm not too interested in it but the people I'm matched with that I've checked have one of their ratings hovering around 3700-3900 ish... I have no references to compare that to so I have no idea how good/bad it is haha.
Might try it sometime but I heard the calibration phase is a bit of a pain.
Edit: Oh xan sorry I didn't see that comment. Yeah some smurfs manage whilst some don't... the one I'm talking about was a prime example of "don't".

i know it seems that every 5 seconds theres some wise guy telling u not to worry about others but this is probably the case in ur situation. just looking at a couple of games of urs and ur item builds dont make a whole lot of sense to me...for ex drums on lina over ghost scepter against 4 carries and no magic damage etc. not trying to call u out or anything but u should just relax and play it cause ive done that on this account after being in ur situation for a while on another and its worked out a lot better.
also wr has very little to do with it from what ive noticed, same as wins. me and some friends have played some eg players and stuff with 51-52% wr so i doubt it has much to do.

Get some friends to stack with.. I'd say all games where I stack the games are balanced. (Expect if I stack with some low-lvl irl friend)
I don't understand what you want us to help you with. The system is great as it is, at least from my point of view. If you don't agree you should probably find friends to stack with so you could put out some teamplay instead of crying instead of playing in your games.

Me and my friend who have 670/1100+ wins and over 1.8/2k hours on Dota had a Legion Commander on our team with 200 total hours on Dota, didn't know to use a Midas active on cooldown, didn't duel once during the whole game, jungled the whole game. What the fuck is this shit... Oh great ranked matchmaking... The ability to have a number to our name is so much more important than keeping teams at similar skill levels.
