Valve don't provide 3rd party sites like DB the data field that states that match stats should not be recorded.
At least thats what I have heard, might be wrong.

Can anyone explain this to me please because now i understand why people dont just leave the game when someone abandons...

Only 11 min game so watch the start at least if this doesnt make sense.
So we all pick, apart from 1 guy that DC's at the start (Crystal Maiden) if i remember rightly we may have paused it but i dont remember.
Anyway, the guy reconnects before the 5 minute thing but because it took a few second to load in, he gets an abandon.
We play on for a bit thinking oh well, might as well play now that it is 5v5 again. I killed Invoker and he left.
Shortly after that, 1 by 1 the enemy team disconnect and then the Ancient blows up. I thought ah well, it was fun anyway while it lasted. Then i see that it has counted the win in my Steam profile and also on DotaBuff. My query is "why?" because it said no stats would be recorded.
In this case in went in my favour but still thought it was a bit weird as technically, they would have won that if the CM had stayed abandoned
