most threads here are "pls meepo top50" "no stats recorded match got recorded at dotabuff" etc

It used to work that way but I guess he removed it to prevent both trolling purposes in pubs and since it is now buffed a lot making it usable on allies would be way too much imo.

Waaay too much greifing potential. Although I think there is some option to turn off your own team being able to use abilities on you.

The reason for Euls no longer being castable on allies is that it would be extremely strong. A really cheap save for you and your teammates with extra movement speed, a situational disable and an amazing mana regen? A bit too much for 2700. And it has nothing to do with in-game griefing - both D1 and D2 had a "disable help" option to prevent this form of behaviour.

On a separate note - does anyone else remember that the Scythe of Vyse (Guinsoo in the day) used to be created from Eul and Eul had charges? )
