you could check out http://dota2toplist.com/. it's still relatively new and there are only about 5k players registered so far. it probably skews toward a higher mmr because people with low mmr either don't care, or are too embarrassed to register. the more people that get on it, the more accurate it will be. then when it becomes really popular, valve will shut it down.

any reason that dotabuff can't add mmr to profiles?
