That is a dramatic oversimplification of what his problem is. He could be very smart but it wouldn't matter because he's a selfish player. It's just what you run into in pubs most of the time, especially Pudge/Riki picks that come after the rest of the team picks farming heroes. I don't care what plays happen later in the game, the pick was still stupid.
What makes me puke is that when I get tired of this I go to random draft : so sometimes you pick first,sometimes last and you should play the role you hava.But no,guy that picked 5th took Venga and plays carry.
I'm just an average player,too old to have good last hits,but too old not to see that we lost when we picked.

I ENJOY playing offlane and support, which are well known for their difficulty in competitive dota, infact carry role is arguably the easiest role in the entire competitive scene. Where is your self confidence? Cant you place a ward on your own? or do you need a heart of terasque, butterfly, and 4 teammates with you before you cross the river?
Sniper OP? even at my crappy level people know not to just ignore him and feed him all game. Pretty easy to kill when you get up close as he doesn't have any competent supports usually in nublet bracket

Also, to answer your practically random question (didn't have anything to do with the rest of the rant), people do that because they think they will random a carry and start with an advantage. If they immediately repick, it shows your skill level too.

So they pick all noob OP carries,take Sniper,Bounty,Bloodseeker,Viper and you have to support,knowing that you will have 0 last hits and that only if by some divine luck you will eventully have force staff.And you will spend all your gold on wards,but still it will be "we need wards".Some matches are ment to be lost.
And I can't remember any match I lost when I was mid Meepo.OK,you have the best farming anyway with Meepo,but when you're on mid you can make things smoother - upgrade courrier if nobody else does and ward around you.So many times I watched poor Pudge hidden behind trees,waiting for me,while I farm neutral camp.Than he goes to gank,I call missing mid and destroy enemy mid tower,sometimes two towers.
And wards...I always say "please ward,I will ward everything after I get Agana.1 blue ward is 75 G,killing Weaver is 300,isn't that good investement ?
