Before you pick Drow, make sure your team has a frontliner, like Slardar, Clockwerk or Riki since you cannot tank for shit and need others to initiate/hold people in place so they cant initiate on you so isili, yh

She destroys most mid heroes, and in low tier pubs supports don't gank the mid lane, so you can bully your enemy while being safe.
Get MoM + Blink/Forcestaff. By this point you should be able to split push safely and take down solo heroes. Take down a few towers/foes and get some damage (MKB, Daedalus, Butterfly, etc). BKB is an option if you want to play it safe, but not mandatory. Drow is pretty much like sniper, glass cannon. You want your team to tank up the damage while you just hit people from the back.

It depends if the other mid sucks or not. If its a pudge just go there and feed on him.

And drow is nothing like sniper. Sniper is useless the whole game vs decent opponents. Drow has heavy contribution to team fights. The silence is too good. And with someone tanking everything axe,dp etc she reks the other team

what the fuck are people talking about..................You go mid get levels get rosh at lv 7 then go hit towers. Avoid as many fights as you can and just hit buildings

Traxex you cant be watching any pro games lately... Sniper gets pickd a lot more than Drow. First game that comes to mind is ROX.KIS Sedoy 15/6/14 vs MOUZ international yesterday. But the build seems to be the same with Drow and Sniper both need that blink dagger.

Drow can mid in new player lobbies, but let Drow safe lane in more experienced lobbies. That's how I feel about it

I play drow mid at 4k MM and I have seen plenty of 5.5k+ players play drow mid. Safe lane works BUT you need your supports to roam alot more to give u more solo exp

sampson and you do you do at mid? are you aggressive and find a kill or two, or you just try to LH as much as possible and get that experience?

I'd like to see her attack animation improved. Before she snags treads, it is very easy to deny her creeps.

You don't have much solo kill potential until you hit 6 unless they really mess up. So just try to stay safe and CS until then. But once you hit 6 you should be able to kill or at least harass them out of lane easily with a rune and/or your marksmanship damage.

most of the mid heroes can beat u if you go aggressive on them, I tend to just go for last hits and only go aggressive if a support roams mid to help kill.

Sniper is good dude, people just suck with positioning. I don't really see either as better, drow has silencer, knockback, great slow but sniper has an incredible 40% proc mini stun, a 1 button press 480 dmg nuke in an area that works wonders on towers and an iwin button if you try to run from him in assassinate. Both are good and build very similar stuff.
