IXDL is only good if the best of the best use it. They don't, so no reason to play there. The open divisions are far worse than normal matchmaking.
How would this effect you in any way? No one would willingly vouch you, and if you were vouched, everyone would abandon ship.

Why doesn't the dotabuff guild just use it? I bet you could get a good few weeks of no interruptions before people start joining but you can just play CL and pick players to play in a captains mode game (picking only dotabuff players you know). You don't have to add each other on steam, it has a simplistic point system in it, not correlated to matchmaking so you would have to feel around certain players, and no one fucking uses it. Why not take advantage?
