I tried taking some of the advice I've heard and picked a snowballing mid (TA) and tried to carry. Everyone always says that the mid is the one who controls the tempo of the game. I tried to do that by ganking and such but I don't think it was enough. I just don't know what more I could have done. I know I could have done more but I don't know how. Every teamfight I'd get ulted by CM and Tide and then right clicked by Sniper who was standing off far away. Tiny gave up like 15 minutes in and didn't want to help even when I begged and Troll was muted or something because he wouldn't talk to us or listen to us. SS couldn't stay alive (I don't blame him, he's up against a Sniper and Silencer) and Weaver could only do so much. I tried to lead us as much as possible but a lot of times they didn't seem to hear me, like when I was asking SS to give me his Dust so I could kill NP or telling Troll not to scare him off so we could jump him.
I'm not the best player and I make mistakes of course but I like team based games like Dota and I like trying to work together with my team. I don't really like playing solo the entire game but a lot of times it feels like that's exactly what I'm doing. Many times I get people who don't speak English or just don't want to work together, sometimes out of spite. It's not like it makes it impossible to win like that but it does make it hard and I'm not good enough that I can still carry despite the lack of communication.
