Bloodstone is actually much worse than scepter on Dazzle. Embrace the minus armor strategy, become it, buy aghs desolator AC and wreck faces.

There is no way Aghs is more useful for dazzle than bloodstone. Your only job is to heal, grave, mek and armor. Nothing else. The more you can do those things the better you are as a support.
Ever heard about wards/mek/pipe/veil/hex/shivas/euls/forcestaff/ghostscepter/rod of atos even a vlads would be better than Aga AND Bloodstone. Normally you will end up with boots and some bracers.

it's not a question of whether bloodstone is better than aghs or not, it's that you've suggested bloodstone as something dazzle should buy. There are so many other items worth getting well before you even consider bloodstone. If you're gonna save up 5k gold to buy that (nearly impossible) why not just buy a sheep.

Dazzle has a big enough mana pool to spam all his skills during a teamfight, he doesn't need the mana regen that badly. If you end up without mana after a teamfight just walk to the fountain, you're a freaking support, you don't really need to be in lane all the time getting xp.
While we might agree that aghs is not the best item on him, it's far better than a bloodstone. But far better than both would be a sheepstick or a shivas.
LOL bloodstone, that is just mana regen overkill, with 5k gold you can buy much more impactful items for your team as Dazzle, also it isn't just "a slight increase in armour", the increased in duration is a HUGE difference on its own

Dazzle has enough what he needs just with arcanes to put heal, grave, weave, and slow every teamfight. If you want to add mana regen, buy euls. He doesnt need fucking bloodstone, niether drums. Jesus
As far as I know, suicide through Shallow Grave is not possible since for it, you need to purge it first. Culling Blade is the only thing which can purge it.
And Culling Blade doesn't work on allies.

Given only one choice, which would be better to build?
1. Mana regen item like Eul's and spam heal
2. Mek and not so much spamming heal
Build Mek if there's no one else buying it, but skip it if possible. You don't need to give the enemy team even more reasons to focus you hard.
9v1 I think that Veil is going to be a poor choice on Dazzle a vast majority of the time. All of his spells do physical damage. Medallion of Courage however...

As a support you're not limited to build items that take advantage of your skill set. Veil is a decent pick up if your team has high magical damage even when you, Dazzle, don't (e.g. you're supporting a pos.1 Necro who already has mek). The stats that veil gives are similar to mek's and you won't get focused down as hard as if you were the only healer in the team (common thing when you play dazzle).
Of course there are much better items on him, we agree on that, but veil might be good on certain situations.
I really hate it when people build Orchid on Storm Spirit when they could be going for a more useful item like Bloodstone.
This is the most retarded thing I have ever herd in my life. Just to let you know the armour difference is MASSIVE and I'm certain that scepter on Dazzle is much better than bloodstone because as mentioned before, Dazzle has already large enough mana pool to spam all abilities... However there are more useful items that team can benefit from such as mana boots and mek.
Support is supposed to support not carry.
I really hate it when people build Maelstrom on Lone Druid bear instead of getting a useful item like bloodstone.

? Aghs on Dazzle is not a bad idea. It gives more armor when giving to allies and or reducing armor by popping ult at enemy. It also gives more advantage for teamfighting.
I usually build Arc, Mek, then Point Booster and work towards bloodstone. always getting wards in between. I just dont get spending 4200 on scepter. I dont think Sheep is the smartest because Saving up 2100 for orb or 2700 for staff is kind of stupid to me. Id rather have the vitality and void over saving up 2100 for orb. It would be nice, but I am not going to try to save up over 2000 for that. Aghs is so useless 4200 for just .25 more armor reduction and a bigger radius. No increase in duration its still 24 seconds. Id love to sheep stick, but saving up that kind of money and having no increase in stats or regen during that saving time seems wasteful, especially if you dont pull off the 2700 save and 2100 save. The most you save for in Bloodstone is 1200, 1100, 875, 875, 1000.
I like bloodstone on storm and no nerd theorycraft will make me stop building it

nice win rate with dazzle shy guy but all your games where you build bloodstone it is already decided by that point it looks like the last few games i watched.
I usually only get 2 mana regen items for dazzle like MOC/URN/mana boots/soul ring I pick 2 and usually manage my mana fine, and still buying mek/pipe if needed, wards all day dust smoke etc.
Bloodstone is a non-teamfight item and you run the risk of screwing your team without a disable or another utility item like that.
I've never cast so much with dazzle mid/late game where i run out of mana with just 2 mana regen items he has the highest intel gain per lvl out of all intel heros so no need for it. I couldn't even spam every spell all day with running out of mana with a bloodstone whats the fucking point, let alone 2 good solid mana regen items
This post is useless. Bloodstone is a selfish build. If you happen to win with bloodstone then your enemy is obviously noob , cuz they let a support get fat . --> low skill bracket
I really fucking hate it when people build a useless item like Blink Dagger on Earthshaker instead of getting a useful item like Bloodstone.

You should work more towards a more useful item like bloodstone, so you can just spam your skills and their low cool downs at later levels. I always see the scepter and think it is such a waste of gold compared to a bloodstone. Bloodstone is only 850 more. Plus it makes you harder to kill because you gain a bigger hp and mana pool.
