crafting a summer adventure badge gives you 1 random ingame item out of like 10 possible games, and foils give you 5 items, won't necessarily be dota 2 chests.

fyi the favours of the shades that are showing up are because people are renaming them in the hopes that clueless people will buy them thinking they're the summer sale rewards. favours of the shade were acquired from offering items during the new bloom festival I believe.
@concede, the winter sale didn't guarantee dota 2 items. if you mean it gave actual cosmetics instead of boxes, the boxes themselves have random quality items in them, although I believe the level 5 reward has a fugly clockwerk helmet

I don't fucking get it - I craft a badge with my cards (support - 100xp). Got zero ingame items. Now says I need more cards to craft next level badge (I still have plenty of cards left)... Can anyone explain to me how this works please?

Believe it or not there is like a 50/100000 chance to get the items so it's pointless :/
Lel, bought one card of each and got a sin of the dark age items after crafting the badge... great.
@Havoc had a look and apparently the odds are even smaller than what you're describing so probably not worth it.

you crafted a dota 2 badge, that's not what gives you an ingame item, you have to craft the summer sale 2014 badge.
Plus I just realized that while the clock helmet is like the most expensive uber rare item ever, not many people want it. It's like having a pile of dino shit, yes it is super valuable and rare but at the end of the day its just a pile of shit and only a very select few will want something like it.
Basically only like 3 people globally have it currently and this is one of them

I am not a trader but those gifts are selling for $500 on the market and if I have to blow $100 on cards to get one so be it. Plus people are trading drodo's and like 3-4 DC hooks for one shitty chest which may soon flood the market.
