I think they count sum of all people.
If total mmr > 37000, it should be very high.
Even there was a stack with 5000 and 2500, other player are 3750, it still will be in very high.
Ah ok when I started playing ranked I recently got players that were at high skill that may have been a reason :)
Your unranked games being Very High meant that when you started playing ranked you might have been in the high 3ks or low 4ks. But then the system saw that your performance was more like High, and calibrated you at 3.4k. The calibration system is kind of shitty because it overvalues certain stats (like hero damage), but if you keep playing ranked you'll probably see your MMR trend up ~250-400.

So now I have played my first 10 ranked games. When I wasn't plaing ranked yet i usually had very high. Then I startet plaing ranked and some of these were high. I saw on this page that the MMR is based on the games that u played before going ranked ( which were at very high ) my mmr is 3.4k now which I'm glad to see but it also confuses me any1 has an idea bout that?
