FINALLY A THREAD WHO CALLS FOR ME
She is both, can be a full support (however falls of due to the lack of nukes/cc/dps) or she transitions into carry by picking up aghs/mom/hex/halberd and be a mayor asshole
The reason of her low winrate is due to people which barely play her dont know (mostly) how to play her and usually fall off very quickly due to lacking experience with that hero. And due to the reason in some cases she might be able to carry the game solo, mostly she is not able to due to the lack of her power to go HG, she is fully depended on her team in that regard.
Also pretty tanky with a little farm but things like MoM+BKB on Void/sven etc own her.
Also she had low average WR due to the patch of gold change where you could have had the perfect game on ench with few deaths, meka, aghs, mom, force and still would lose the game due to 2 deaths only.
Great hero, Started to love her. I give lessons on her too!
P.S. Spoink
Edit: Heroes like Visage and Brood have/had a low winratio as well but it was not due to the heroes weakness but due to the players weakness and lack of knowledge and profession on those respective heroes
Except the current Meepo which is sitting at 48% winrate. Goes to show how broken that hero is right now.
She's a good hero but I don't feel like she fits a lot of teams/standard pub teams. Her skills are weird, her slow is pretty good, really good once it's maxed, and her untouchable frustrates the hell out of right clickers. In this way she can harass a lane well. but she has no nukes, no disables, and to make up for those issues you have to be good and using the creeps which is difficult. She's a tweener hero- not really a carry, not an ideal lane support, good jungler but doesn't transition to anything unlike say enigma or sand king who's purpose for jungling is blink into team fights. I think she works best as a mid but you'll rarely get to play her there in a pub.
Which is exactly like his average winrate should be low. Like the other micro intensive heroes.
I can think of 3 reasons why Meepo is 48% and Chen/Ench/Visage all below 44%.
1) Meepo is overpowered.
2) Chen/Ench/Visage are underpowered.
3) Meepo takes less skill than Chen/Ench/Visage.
In addition to 1) All other micro intensive heroes (brood, tb, naga, ld) have lower winrate than Meepo.
Meepo is fairly strong at the moment. Even if you can't play him properly, like me, if you just buy treads/aghs you are already tank as fuck, add a skadi and try to imagine equally shit opponents trying to fight that.
Chen/Ench/Visage actually require some degree of skill to play well, and especially for Chen, be active early. Ench probably just gets popped as people don't know how to play her in the early stages of the game and are too underfarmed to do any semi-carrying with her, as she doesn't farm that quickly unless you have half a brain (as opposed to a meepo w/treads who slices through creeps pretty quickly).
I'd agree with ^ last point, meepo is much easier to have a bigger impact on the game than those heroes at a very low skill level.
The most important thing to remember when looking at these stats is just how shit the average player is
Not really. The reason why meepo has a higher winrate is because he is a carry. It is extremely hard to win with random pubbies early and mid game.
Ench, Visage and Chen drop off late, that's when shit is getting extremely hard. They become completely useless and end up as food because you cannot coordinate random pub people like you would in a team. Especially with this new meta.
@NotSoCuteOwl^^
Other supports such as CM, Jakiro, Treant and Veno also drop off late but have above 50% winrate this patch. Visage and Ench definately scale better than those. So I don't think you can use that argument.
All those heroes are babysitters, you usually pick those in combination with hardcarries. Of course they will have a nice winrate. Look at Omniknight, he is the ultimate babysitter and has the highest winrate for that exact reason.
Ench, Visage and Chen are heroes usually seen in combination with other pushers or early game heroes with a high advantage.
@He's an A-star student there's a difference between micro and macro skills
@NotSoCuteOwl^^ More than that is what I class as defensive supports which have a higher success rate for that reason you gave and their focal points being on healing and survival or heroes that only come into fights once to drop an ult before they back off...heroes like
Omniknight, Abaddon, Dazzle, Tree, Lich, Venomancer.
All of them very defensive supports or in the cases of lich, venomancer, and ogre just strong lane harass or big ults which 7/10 times will allow your carry to effectively win the game for you or help strengthen your presence in team fights.
It's not the micro so much as her position. What role is enchantress? Carry? Mid? Support? She doesn't fit nicely into the pub boxed roles of carry, mid, lane support thus she kind of sucks in pubs. It's a lot like windranger (44.5%), what is she? A carry? A support? She doesn't have good disables, has mediocre nukes, and her biggest asset is her ult and being really hard to catch with windrun.
bcuz ppl dunno how to play such hero, they afk farm instead of afk ganking. but yea i guess when u have no clue how to gank its better to afk farm.

The hell is this? It's like, she's a great support, and very helpful in the early game, so why does she have a low winrate and some shit?
Pub's these days think she's a carry I guess.
