I am at the same rating currently, only issue i have is that my games are really stompy, we either get 4 carries and lose in 20 mins or it's the other way around
Tell your teammates "hey, this is my 5k game, can I please go middle?", go mid, and win game.
Have you considered counter picking more?
It seems somewhat simplistic, but if you check your opponents heroes against dotabuff "worst against list" and pick a hero 3 or 4 of your opponents heroes are rated poorly against, you can find a strong counter pick you may not normally think to play
4K is by far the most toxic pile of dota2 garbage I have ever had to wallow through. Keep it up, it will happen as you're winning a lot of your solo ranked recently.
Just be calm and don't care about it. It's not like you're magically better when you're 5000 instead of 4975
you are 5k player both if u have 4800 or 5300. random deviation doesnt matter a lot imo.
Nothing changes immediately past 5K except maybe you. you still get paired with 4.6K players constantly and untill you hit mid 5k's you will still see lot of frustrating shit going on. Perhaps for some hitting 5K relaxes them and makes games seem easier or less toxic because of the placebo effect it has, and the bad taste left from the 4K pool.
just pick axe 3 or 4rd hero and cut lane everytime .. works like 70% of the time u get tower down fast and their carrys get no farm ( axe offlane with another hero like lich can work better just yell : some1 pick lich or dazzle or some gay shit im going axe cutting their lane bottom then u put ur avatar hero icon on the map with axe face on it so they see what ur going to do and where ur going to go)
also get 2 stout shield and 3 tango early. then upgrade to vanguard or blink wtv

hi boys, i was trying to reach 5k (i was 2 games far), but i just can't, everytime I will, is just another lose.
i feel a bit frustrated, i know this shit means nothing but damn, this was my meta 4 months ago (when I was 3.4k)
