mjollnir is a waste for the most part trolls got the most IAS in the game apart from windrunner focus fire. so the hyperstone (2k of investment) is useless
maelstrom isnt bad, i usually pass on it because i prefer stat items so that i cant die very easily and ms items to lower kiting potential. imo troll does enough damage so the goal is to just let him do his damage. crit is probably better though as the hero is all about manfighting and single target damage which im sure crit does a better job of

So, yeah.
i love Mjollnir on Troll because it makes him a bash monster and the lightning procs by themselves may force the enemy to make a BKB, which is counterintuitive since Troll's stun goes through bkb (hue hue).
Also, it helps in pushing towers much much faster than he already can while conserving mana, as you don't have to spend it to spam your skills.
The over-all increase in damage and in the reliability of your stun alone may warrant the purchase of this item.So my question is, why don't people make it on Troll?
