If you find a 6k 60% Storm it might be because he is better at Dota, not necessarily better at Storm.
Blademail as well, you don't want to be tanking damage as storm
Experimenting different builds doesn't mean going for stupid items

op, if you're 4k, then stacking with low mmr friends and going mid is hardly going to make you improve. ez lane ez game. I also do not think there is that much merit in paying for a coach when you can just analyze your own replays... the latter also being practise for improving game sense.
and Shivas isn't that amazing of an item on Storm. Armor is worthless because you're more worried about being locked down by silence/stun than actually being hit. The active is nice but you don't really need a slow either. Lacklustre mana regeneration as well. Linken/BKB would be better.
and if you're willing to be serious enough to find a coach, don't get mjolnir ._.
you should go for the triple disable build, ancient storm build (when he came out and still used)
Soul ring+Orchid+bloodstone+bkb(if needed)+guinso+travels make 6. If you didnt need bkb i'd go for an mkb after guinso or travels
And about playstyle you just go in and out. They managed to activate bkb? b right away and go in later. The hero is annoying and should be unkillable.
Perhaps he was joking but I treated it seriously because he listed Euls which is a pretty good item
I don't usually go for bkb except when they have a shitton of disables, my usual go to build is PT soul ring orchid bloodstone linkens hex
Sometimes I may go for bloodstone first instead of orchid, it's good when you don't need the orchid to kill people
when i play against storm, the first thing i do is going fora playstyle that forces him to go bkb. If he doesn't then its freekills. And if he does, i slow down his killing potential and farm.
For example when i go drow mid vs storm mid i go boots aquilla treads drums orchid dagger etc. Since im stronger than him and it takes time for him to farm his orchid, i have all of those before he even gets orchid :D! and then i ruin his game by forcing him to go bkb xD! and play super passive.

Also with those items you may be a threat to storm but your damage isn't food and you're squishy as fuck

You act like 150 damage is good for a drow with drums + 1 core item, srsly, you hit 150 with treads and wraith bands. As people already mentioned you already have a silence and you also don't profit from the mana regen so I don't see how Orchid can be a good item. Decent at most.

All games not listed with Win or Loss are Wins and Against Storm.
All games listed are ranked solo, and the only ones with orchid at the end for the last 9 months (pages 1 through 13).
I didn't want feedback about my gameplay. I just wanted some coaching. I've contacted Blitz, but he wants 75$/h & minimum 5h bought, which for me is far too expensive (esp. paying for 5h without even trying if it's good).
I bump the offer.
Mokujin - he just probably doesn't want to coach, so he made absurd price, so only a few would be interested. I understand that logic.
I would probably pay like $100/h for EG.Fear but for that blitz bitch at most $10/h (If i needed to learn anything at all from him which i clearly don't)

@Imprecis, forget Blitz (was not smart of me to suggest him to you without checking) he is only charging that much because he can (relatively popular personality). I think anyone ~6k solo can give you valuable advice (be it replay feedback/coaching) for 15-30$/hour if you message people politely, instead of waiting for them to add you.

Of course I will gladly pay for it. I have 220 games as Storm & I'm 4k, but I would like to learn from better players on what to improve.
