at least he didnt turn on and off statistics like sunzz did who has been at the same MMR (4900-5300) for over 1½ years now

Vaikiss though I agree with you that he works the same way, this was the case for Troll, Axe and Jugg as well, especially Axe. Though that cast time really matters. Think about Ursa before Overpower casttime nerf, it just felt so smooth before.

No he did, he was always strong people were just blind to see it. Also the AS increase is only useful at super late game and that's not when Troll is good anyway. The bug fix on Fervor was really good though. I mean he wasn't even stronger than his first release and almost no one was complaining about him at that time.

I'm not sure Sam. I mean, Troll's winrate before he was "discovered" was around the 46% range and a hero staying almost the same doesn't increase his global winrate by almost 10% in basically a week just by people realizing he was actually good. That bug fix was more impactful than a lot of people give it credit for.

Obviously after good players start playing a hero his winrate goes higher. Also I said the bug fix was quite helpful but nothing gamebreaking to suddenly make the hero feom useless to OP shit.

attack speed boost made him much more viable jungler and gave him ability to permabash as early as lvl 11
