if items can solve the issue of the enemy's picks, then a familar hero and just itemise differently. if not, counterpick with an unfamiliar hero, unless it's earth spirit or meepo or chen.

Pick a hero you're NOT familiar with to counter OR pick a hero that YOURE familiar with even if it's not the best pick.
Thoughts please..
