Come on people....just pick beastmaster, use boar to scout for mines and techies gets no kills. Then you can just get a necro 3 later when he has remotes and ez katka.
Techies is really useful for the team (you generally know the movements of the opponent etc). I would love it if I had a good techies player in my team.

Why does techies get so much hate? I mean its just another hero you get good techies and bad techies like every other of the 100+ heroes
i watched a 2k mmr friend of mine play brewmaster offlane, and the enemy team had techies.
they lost cuz noone ever bought sentry, techies had monsterkill at min 8 (roughly 1 kill per minute), they got a gem at like min 28 when game was long long long long lost
i guess this is a source of the frustration

Gonna save all of my reports for techies pickers. I fucking hate this hero with every ounce of my being. Requires no micro, requires jack shit.... just derp put a bunch of mines down and global detonate.
The fact that this is the most bitched about hero in the pro scene says something.
