ur professions require u to travel aroudn the world to gather recipes. i unlearned my 700 engineering because its fucking useless and switched to blacksmithing yesterday & i can already build normal items
just start any profession you want/need, itll be worth it

god theres so much to do at lvl 110 idk if this is because xpac just came out or its actually more content than previous xpacs

u can buy some 2 star recipes at ur professions vendor and idk where u get 3 stars from but i guess u need to do some advanced questing or some shit

nono there are special quest lines for each professions, its not like cooking
there are (1 star) recipes on lvl 110 that give 815 ilvl, i guess with 3 star it would be 830+
also as it seems there are some items that work the same way as the crafted items in draenor (7 (?) stages)
