the distribution in amount of games/players on euw and eue is smthng like 80/20 or 90/10.

I am from EU East region but I always play EU West due to a fact that EU East is conquered by huge amount of cykas which apparently doesn't like to play with themselves.

Higher probability of meeting english speakers improve game experience for me.

i thought all cykas play on euw, but then there is even a darker place :D

lol triple, where did you get these number m9, the overall ratio of games on EUW:EUE during peak hours is more like 55% to 45%

or 35% - EUW, 30% - EUE, 35% - RU
(that's for the evening, I didn't look at other points of time)

at some point during the day RU actually has more players than Lux (EUW) as Lux peaks later due to the timezone differences

i was queueing for different pairs of servers on different mmr lvls, depending on where i lived. 5k+ players barely ever queue on EUE. if you queue for russia and euw nowdays, u gonna play only 30% of your games on the motherland. when i q'ed in eue plus euw a year ago, i had 40/60 distribution for low mmr games, and 80/20 for high.
the reason is probably that euw originally had more players, and it attracted ppl from US, EUE and Russia (more high mmr games and shorter q time on euw, in particular), so it worked like a snowball.

maybe hes referring to 5k+.. i thought euw is more populated as well.. maybe not 90/10 but still
