very slow que times, more respectful players due to cultural reasons, and cause of them just not caring about this game. Also, not very good players seeing as a Dota scene in Japan is non existent, and there's nothing for them to improve on for the few that due want to get good. (they gotta go to other servers) They play fighting games, and do random shit like speed running instead. Arcades are still a thing out there, so fighting games are prevalent, but of course some play MOBAS im sure of it, but if they do, most probably play League.
i think japan's server has the same problem as australia in that there's hardly anyone playing on there. it's probably better that you stick with sea if you're 5k+, otherwise there's no harm in trying it out
apparently there aren't many actual japanese people on the server, people who play on the server just want to meet japanese people.
