First pick random, if is a comfortable hero to you=200 gold over your oponnents

In normal skill you should try, no one pick counter heroes in normal skill, they just pick 5 carries ...

first pick random is legit.

i've had players on my team that have waited to pick last and then randomed... only to find themselves with a 4th/5th core, or something the team did not need at all. then they do not think to repick.

Nobody can claim to play at the same lvl with every hero. The bonus gold is nothing compared to being stuck with a hero you're not good with for a 45 minutes of pure massacre. Me for example. There is only a handful of heroes I can claim to play decently with and maybe only five I would use competitively (in a ranked game). Mastery comes with practice, and lots of it.

Randoming means gambling your teammates MMR. That's a lack of respect. At least the last guy I saw random took his responsibility. He randomed Meepo, so he quit the game. This way I can leave the game with my MMR untouched and the idiot is stuck in Low Priority.

5 heroes is a very small poll, unless you spam just one hero that you are very good

if you have a pool of 15 good heroes, you have 14,8% of random pick a good hero to you and earn 200 gold, and still have other heroes situationals that you are not very good, but you can do a great impact on the game

If it's a hero that you don't know how to play you repick and loss 100 gold, its a gamble

i not recommend random, but first pick random is acceptable
