        I mean computer builds

        Mandalorian

Take H97 chipset board, change GPU for something newer like GTX 960 or 970 if you have enough money, strongly consider 120GB SSD drive and take 550W-600W PSU just to be sure (XFX makes great ones for the price atm).

          nami

SSD isn't important for streaming or gaming.

Maybe the load times but we're talking about dota here...

            > Whoops

Well, even an analog clock can run Doto. That build is more than enough for it.

              Chaoshype

i have a shitty shitty build (i'm a student k) im going to walk out bye

Get a 4GB newer card if you want to play newer games and I'm sure you can find a better case in that price range, cuz this one is just awful. And if you're getting this actually get GTX 960 for sure. It performs almost the same as GTX 770 in most new games sometimes even better and sometimes a bit worse +/- 5fps and you can get it waaaay cheaper ~200$ or if you want to stick in this price range check R9 380X.

SSD doesnt change the performance of your gaming experience.

                    Vertoxity

Get SSD, life saver. It won't change performance in Dota when it come sto FPS, but it's just so good not to get it. 120GB one is also cheap.

GTX960 or R9 380. Both are great GPU's. AMD is stronger, nVidia is less power-hungry.

If you'll waste 80$ on moBo for no reason(that cpu is locked), get at least decent one:

                      http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157507

Get cheaper DDR3 RAM, no reason to waste shitloads of money on expansive one.

Also, coinsider getting Intel Skylake. It's faster than Haswell, it's not much higher in terms of price.

                      Intel Core i5-6400 6 MB Skylake Quad-Core 2.7 GHz LGA 1151 65W BX80662I56400 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530 - 195$

If you decide to go for Skylake(no reason not to), motherboard for you:

MSI Z170A PC MATE LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard 109$

Ofc you'll need DDR4 but he's not that expansive compared to DDR3.

                      Vertoxity

Also don't get GTX770. She's old and no reason to get her over an GTX960. GTX960 might be a bit slower, but difference is not noticable.

PSU is fine, you won't have any problems with it.
