    Why do ppl have that this mindset that the more kills you have the more good you are...

      Because clearly the person who has the biggest number at the end of the game is the best. Its like soccer (Football or whatever its called in your country). All the good players score lots of goals while the less skilled players are left as defenders.

        ??

        puppey plays #4, doesn't get that many kills but is acknowledges as the best player in the world

        mate, if you play well, regardless of your role, you'll get acknowledged

          dota =/= football

            But usually ppl tend to think dat more kills show that you have more skill (mostly happens in normal skill to high skill games)

              I mean, i agree to an extent but if a person is like 20 kills ahead of his team he probably is doing way better than his team. Also depends if you are comparing the supports to carries vs carries to carries...etc.

                does it matter if your fellow 3ks praise you as a better 3k

                  It does.

                  I have a smurf account that plays with 1 mmr people and they all think I'm awesome because I have 1000 more mmr than them. I love playing on that smurf, except when there are other smurfs.

                    The amount of kills in the game directly applies to a person's ego level in most games.
