I'm chinese and know english (obviously), mandarin, cantonese and know some japanese, (currently learning). What time zone u in and when are you online?
I speak both English and Japanese fluently as I'm Japanese-American.
But to be honest, being coached just doesn't entice me...
I'll be willing to do it, but I have no prior experience in teaching, and the coaching in return for teaching someone a new language just doesn't entice me.
If he's willing to change it, then it may be a different story
No idea if traditional readers/writers are rare now since most schools (at least the ones I know of) teach in the simplified version. Good luck in learning the languages
If you want to learn traditional characters you'd best seek a Taiwanese teacher. They are the only country that doesn't use simplified words.

I am a solo MMR 5k++ EU mid player and I'm looking for someone who is good with Japanese or Mandarin language to teach me something new for about 1 hour every week. In return, I can coach you for 1 hour every week in Dota too, in mid/carry/offlane. Currently busy with exams so can't commit to more than 1 hour a week yet, but can commit more hours after my exams.

Ideally you are a Japanese who can speak both English and Japanese. If you are not Japanese but proficient in Japanese it is okay as well.
For Mandarin, I'm only looking for Chinese from China/Taiwan/Malaysia/Singapore who can speak both English and Mandarin. Also, you need to know traditional Chinese characters (not simplified)
I promise I will teach you everything that I know and will do my best to help you improve in Dota.
