i used to be a consistent honor student way back grade school
but i got addickted to gaming when i got to highschool so i got lazy and started playing shitton of games instead
at first they were really mad about it, grounding me from playing games etc but my academics just went downhill from there and they stopped nagging me about it lolololol
now i can play however i want! ...except i care about my studies again
Keep it low enough so that they'll think games won't affect your academic performance but still high enough to not fail

I played CSGO way more than you could imagine back then and still got 35.5/40 (which is trash too tbh, only 36+ aint trash)
im honestly a jrpg guy myself, mostly played the FF series tho (played them all 1-10 + 12). ive also played KH except dream drop distance above, some tales, some star ocean, and of course, pokemon. but lately i cant bring myself to commit to these kinds of games anymore. it feels like too much of a time sink for a single player game
I didn't say I was an RPG player, as the only RPGs that got me hooked were pokemon and spiral knights
SK was pretty damn good because of the community, now that everyone else quit and the heat and energy system update it becomes meh
Single player games I played was Dead Space series, Dead Island series, Dead Rising, Splinter Cell series, Resident Evil, and...... that's about it
