ppl like naga slark alch etc to a large degree function best when vacuuming farm that NOBODY ELSE CAN TOUCH, either enemy jungle or super pushed lanes or other heroes do this taking ancients early etc
so u get insane gpm and ur team isnt starved that bad, + u takr towers for them and can win fights hopefully
more kills on say SS is always good
an oracle being 10-1-1 = just going to feed it away and not be as useful as on a core
obviously, there's lots of time where you want to farm over kill. you have to remember, farm is safer and more guaranteed gold than kills.
Yeah, it's called not ending the game while you have the advantage. It's better to be 2 slotted at 22 mins with the lead, then to be 6 slotted at 50 mins.

This is a honest question cuz I have been seeing it more and more as a problem. For example 1 guy is farming the entire map like all the lanes that are pushed and all the jungle. Yes I get he is a core but at a certain point there is diminishing returns to gold. There is limited resources and while you are 700 gpm the other 4 members of ur team is 300 gpm. Wouldnt it be better for all 5 people to be closer to 450-500 gpm?
The other question is kills. Like if one person is getting 20 plus kills and still taking all the kills when a teammate can get it and maybe finish an item.
