I snapped my leg in 3 three different places about 5 weeks ago , rather gruesome if you saw it was leg was at a 90 degree angle then retracted a few inches with the bones going side by side and tearing up a lot of my calve muscle with the sharp edges of the bone , they ended up placing a nail in my tibia to hold it together and left my fibula alone so it will likely remain in 3 separate prices for a couple years , wich should be ok since your tibia holds around 90% of your body weight . I have healed up pretty well and can live fairly normal now I just can't walk . Starting about 1 week ago I started being able to sit normally so I was able to play dota again I was pretty rusty so been playing ad for past week and finally started ranked again todY which is ironic since dota is getting big update today . You may ask how dota would stop me from playing dota but before last week I had to elevate my leg at all times or it would get very swollen and turn black . Now it can handle not being elevated for a couple hours a day so I can play , it still gets swollen and black but the swelling isn't too bad and not really painful like it was before . I don't know if y'all remember my thread about going back to school or staying in military well I decided to go to school and only had 12 work days left before I broke my leg. Since I would have to miss this semester of college rehabbing my leg I decided to extend until June 30th to rehab my leg with the military and continue to get a paycheck , so just when I thought I was free this happened wich is kinda ironic , I don't return to work until January 6th atleast so I plan on getting some good dotes in the mean time .the nice thing is that I still get a pay check all this time I've been healing . Week one was horrible I was completely bed ridden and my whole body system felt like it was falling apart not just my leg I also ended up with a small clot some where in my circulatory system . Week 2 was pretty bad I was able to spend part of the day on the couch on the living room which helped my spirits a lot . Week 3 I would say was ok I was able to spend most of the day on the couch watching Netflix and hanging out with family in living room . About 32 days after injury I started feeling a lot better and this is when I was able to sit down without leg way up in the air for a few hours and it I am about 38 days out now and I'd say life is pretty good I should enjoy my remaining time off from work since my main limitation now is just the fact that I can't walk now but I am really happy that I am able to sit normal now . I got a lot of dotes catching up to do especially with this new update coming good luck guys . Old man filthy is back .
