Sniper can counter Luna so hard , its all about positioning your ass in the fights , else u'll get jumped on and rekt !

Xstorm is wrong, Luna is probably the best safelane carry right now because she is good early, mid, and late game as well. Only Jugg semi counters her because Jugg can push just as five and is good early, mid and late. So basically you have to outplay Luna. The bladefury is good for her ulti so you don't need BKB.
Bat can be use to burst her before she had manta or bkb. Od can be used to burst her with his ult. Tbh she has no real counter. You can pick meepo and destroy her too. You kind of need to kite her. Destroy her backlines and you are good

from experience meepo is strong against her, slark is good, tinker ember sniper cos she cant reach them.
Phantom Assassin, cause crits and can't solo ult her after BKB to kill her for engaging on you.
Slark, cause Slark is just cancer.
Axe. Axe LOVES jumping on Luna, calling her and hitting Blademail.
Timbersaw. Burst and his passive guts her damage earlier on. And even later if he buys Shivas.
Then there's Kunkka. X mark into Torrent and Ghostship and you're fucking dead instantly son.
had the most problem vs sd, sniper, weaver and am in my recent games
currently instabanning weaver, sd and sniper are easier to deal with on ur own, and am is rare and easily punished
You can make aghs on luna vs sniper.
I feel like slark is pretty good vs luna since you can gank her early.
As for late game, something like WK, Spectre is working too.
any strong single target carry can man fight luna (idk about ursa tho he falls way too much later in the game) so i would say slark and juggernaut
heros broken and doesnt have a real counter due to the nature of the hero
if you lose with luna, its your fault for not picking the correct heros ard her/playing it well. its almost impossible to contest lunas lane which means the hero freefarms and just snowballs
i think lycans pretty good against her, ill test it later. summons let u fight into eclipse, can killher when on top of her, similar timings, gets bkb, can outpush luna, similar laning style. its stillretarded to push into luna sd which is what makes that combo broken, but luna laone is manageable i think
Sniper, slark, juggs ok, a lot depends on the laning, if you get crushed in lane you are probably going to be cooked if Luna goes OK because she will generally outfarm you then just 5 man your shit.
Your playstyle should be like this. You win lane because her 3rd ability add damage to support to zone offlane. Get free farm. Then you fight when you have your ult and win teamfight. You push while you are ahead and get t1 repeat till all t1 are down. Get rosh or t2. Either is fine but preferably get all t2 first. Then push hg and you win
From this you should be able to see the weakness of luna. You have 2 option to counter her:
1. Shit on her lane and make her get no farm.
2. Win the 1st teamfight either by getting a earlier teamfighting team or prevent the teamfight till your team is on its power spike. Get as much pickoff but avoid teamfight.
Luna cant do shit when she is behind. She played when she is ahead.
1 slark, juggernaut - when ult, they can ignore eclipse dmg
2 alchemist, he can outfarm her with easy, and win before she gets strong
just pick ember spirit and oneshot her over and over so she never can farm bkb xd
the answer to eclipse is to eat it with multiple units, not go invuln and make your poor supports die :(
heroes like lycan ,mepo, necronomicon, sd, manta style is the easiest answer
Slark is by far the best counter to Luna. I know because I've played Luna on countless occasions, and unless the Slark is outright brain dead, then you are pretty much f***ed.
i was going 9 wins on a row, i pick luna then and i lose against the juggernaut, i wanted to actually pick slark but it was banned, feelsbadman.
