Is there an optimal time after which you should stop looking for a match? in General Discussion

I noticed that frequently the long waits result in shittiest match-ups, do you guys have some personal rules about finding match times?

I restart the search after 5mins. no idea if it resets anything but figure the matchmaking criteria get wider over time.

Play until I lose once. If I get 3 straight matches won it means I'm playing in an optimal condition and will play until a) I die b) duty calls c) time for the day runs out and I need to get home.
