Ac is gr8 for any physical dmg core who needs dmg and survivability against blademail. Just buy armor.

AC is not that cost efficient against axe tbh
SE/eul/sata seems better for purely negating call damage

satanic is the only single item that rly works because if u dont die during call u recover full hp instantly and u can focus axe when he jumped some1 else, stacking armor *technically* is a counter but in reality 35 armor carries still kill themselves in seconds
going for a 0 dps 3khp build doesn't rly work either because u still take a lot of dmg and are left with enough hp to get killed or forced to retreat in the next 1-2 seconds
silver edge doesnt help for the same reason as above, even if u have superhuman reaction and get it off when jumped u still take a lot of dmg

call-blademail is stupidly op but if u think about it thats the only trick in his sleeve - dont get called and the best this hero can do is press crimosn/pipe/shivas and be just annoying

in general against blademail min maxing hp vs dps I necessary. sure satanic is nice, but u cud also just get killed during call or stunned after call. I just mean purely for surviving blademail u shud buy whatever item counters ur type of dmg. for pure u just need hp, for phyl buy armor, for magic buy magic res.

euls is good on supports, to help a called teammate. ethereal blade the axe and prevent the melee hero from attacking during the call.

AC is meh. the attack speed almost counters the armor.

Satanic is probably your best bet, or shivas if your playing an appropriate hero.

But ultimately the best counter is an ally having a euls/ebalde

Sadly your team needs to help you, items don't really help in my experience you still shred yourself on the blademail barring some retarded no dps build. Tell your allies to buy euls and hope that they have the presence of mind to save you in teamfights.
