i don't think u need to WIN the game in the end to complete the quest. u just need to do certain things in game and then u can just lose. if u have to WIN in the end to get credit will make those idiot think twice about @#$%ing around

THE QUESTS EXIST TO IMPROVE YOUR GAMEPLAY. GADDOMMIT. THE QUESTS ARE FOCUSED IN THE DETAILS OF MASTERING THE GAME SO COMPLETING QUESTS IS IMPROVING YOUR PLAY.
So, if you find quests too hard to achieve, you are not playing well enough in your skill bracket OR your skill in the game is too narrow, for example pretty much tied to gaining MMR by spamming one hero with one build. Which of course sucks. When you are completing the quests with ease, it tells about your skill in the game in a different way than gaining MMR does.
well i've never done any of the quest/achievements, but however few of the guys on losing team are saying out loud about how they got achievement when they are losing.
one game enemy team guy keeps on targetting me saying he has to do XXXXX amount of damage to 1 player. when he lost he said hahaha he got the quest credit. i never give a sh1t about quest how do i know u need to WIN game in the end. please.
it was just told by other losing player that they got their item/quest credit for losing the game. one player buys like 50 wards and left with just brown boots by 30 minutes, also said that he only wants to put 50 wards not care about winning.
btw... before all these happens i didn't even know there is quest in dota lol.......
so maybe these losing player are lying??

Like I said I don't do any quest. I never hit on that tab ever don't even know it exist. It's just the other players are linking their quest in chat and pretty much not care if they win.
Maybe they really didn't know?? Maybe first time didn't read the fine print??
Why not? Quests are not even so hard, I remember some old winter battlepass quests were way harder to achieve then these. They even do not colide with game so much as oposed to some older battlepass I can compare. So if you are doing quests, they make you want to win harder, cuz it states 'within single victory' 'across multiple victories'. Without win you get nothing.

i only play dota for fun, i don't know anything about those pass and items. however i've notice lately alot of players are doing some kind of 'Quest' in a match, for different kind of rewards. but alot of them ONLY wants quest and don't care about winning. and after they lose the game they will say 'i've done the quest anyway don't care'
it's obvious but it screw up game for other 4 players, and most quests will screw up your game... it will either cause player to not pick the correct hero for the match with very bad picks, or simply focus on doing quest only. worse quest out there will be like the one to put some wards. they will just pick random useless hero, buy as many wards as possible (with brown boots @30 minutes) and then go AFK. cos they want the game to end asap.
i reckon these quests are fine but it should be Quest + Win....
for example, place 20 wards for your team AND Win the game.
i know that will make it hard to achieve, but then reward for completing quest can increase as well, most important is to not screw up people game wit these idiot players
i've also won alot of games when enemy team simply don't care cos they got the quest. which i dont mind just don't be on my team.
