tbh i'd rather lane mid against viper rather than silencer, since you know after laning stage viper isn't gonna do much anyway
I don't play carry or mid, so I don't know.
If the Viper is safelane against me, then I would either fuck off to jungle and farm the pushing wave, if I have a good hero or my supports would rotate to me then we would kill him at one point, because Viper has very bad base MS.
I'd also be very happy, because having a safelane carry Viper is among the most dogshit things for the enemy team they can do. It would be as if they're deliberately diminishing their chances of winnning.
It feels hard to trade against him cuz of the attack slow and cuz if ur melee u can't even get close to him
everyone always saying viper has a shit lategame but i can remember games where at 60 min my viper was the strongest hero on the map. Also pick brood, congragulations you've now won this lane.

He also doesn't naturally farm fast so he doesn't get the items he needs to become a good lategame hero
Doesn't mean he is useless but u almost always end a game at 35 min or less as viper, every time I've won with the hero that's what I've done.

Viper feels rlly bad if u get behind somehow, or if u have a 60 min game. I've never ever won as viper past 35 min.
