So we already agreed on trade deal. I would trade my golden basher and AM immortal for his non-marketable/non-tradable CK Diabolic Aspect (Only giftable), I went first since he had significantly more + rep than me and also we had good trades before. Then after I went first, he blocked me. Also to note we have been friends for more than 30 days so we can gift each other

I've had only one experience of being scammed in my early Dota days. It wasn't super expensive or rare as the items you mentioned, it was probably something common or uncommon, but I learned from it. Even that guy I traded with had been an in-game friend for a while. He even messaged me in chat and said "lol get scammed" or something of the sort. Since then I've stuck to steam trades confirmed with my steam guard authenticator on my phone.

I don't know what the right step would be in your position, especially since you had good trades in the past. I guess greed is basic human nature and can strike at any time.

I wonder, is it possible to put a delay in your trade or gift to a person that can be cancelled at any time so you can retract it if the trade promised is not fulfilled? This applied to me when I only newly got the Steam Guard thing on my phone which delayed any trade by 15 days for the first month but not now.

I got scammed once of my SF arcana which was like $50 in those days although he got a trade ban and I'm pretty sure his account was blocked
