I feel like it has and always will be banned against certain teams. If wisp even gets into a pro game, teams will prioritize his death even more than they have before. If Io never gets level 15, you don't worry about his talent. If he's first picked, teams will plan around that and ban anyone who really benefits from it.
Yes but keeping him alive is also a priority now I think. Level 15 is too low for such a high potential talent I think. And you can’t ban everyone that wisp benefits i think. Theres just so many options. Would love to see him in action though, Osfrogs newest creation
Counters for Io are going to be almost all of the opposing teams draft. PA, Sniper, SB, Lina, Lion, ect. There's only so much you can do to keep him alive when his kit revolves around being close to hero's. I'm interested to see what the pro's do though
He isnt actually. I watched the dotapit minor and nobody is touching the hero, presumably because spirit vessel is a thing now and because aghs talent isnt actually that good and the overall nerfs the hero got (higger cd relocate and lower spirit range) make him worse.

If pros made him strong before, what more so now that he/she/its been buffed? Free aghs? Cmon now imagin that on a drow for insane farming or literally anyone really.
