What games do you play, where the enemy stands still for 3 seconds at a time? And why would they care that much if they got stunned for 1.75 s? Meteor hammers biggest trait is the damage to towers.

its good for str heros that cant clear waves or hit towers.
prime example is undying. good laning and all, but you cant play him because he has no waveclear, no building damage.
so you buy meteor hammer and boom, you can kill a creepwave or even splitpush
It has a 40s cooldown, it does not replace any items that are core for undying, so you'd get this, at best, after urn, blademail, mekansm (or even guardian greaves) and/or aghanim... I just don't see where it would fit in or what it should replace.

undying doenst have a set item build. he is probably the most versatile offlaner when it comes to his item build.
you can go blademail, rod of atos, aghs rush, pipe rush, even glimmer capw can be an option and many more. whatever is the most suitable.
meteor hammer doesnt cost much, gives good stats and helps him scale better into late game.

unfortunately meteor hammer cannot be rearmed so there goes that theory
also the item only has a short cast range so using it to siege towers slowly is a big no no as you can easily get caught when channeling
necro is a much better alternative for that purpose honestly. similiar buildup and more or less fills the same purpose.

I mean..ur riki can keep his invisibility during the channeling time. Unlike most invi heroes, he has special invi skill (along with treant) which can use item and channeling skill without breaking the invi. So, who know their a*s will stomped by meteor shower after that?

Since in ability draft mode Im still can use my death ward or blackhole without breaking my invi(i pick cloak and dagger and channeling ulti)...i think it will work with channeling item too

Problem is, Axe doesn't have the same potential at taking towers Beastmaster has and hammer is mostly an item designed to take objectives. If you just wanna troll that's a different story lol, you could use it with WW too, ulti, make a bunch of heroes gather and then channel hammer while your ulti is ending.
