They changed so many things and introduced so many op talents that mentioning everything in 2 days is impossible. I saw him do well too in these first games of the new patch but I think he's wasted as pos 5.
I hadn't noticed myself... It baffles me that they thought he needed a buff, I always saw Silencer as a powerful hero in almost any lineup.
You will need to participate a lot of kills though
Or else 90 GPM might be better to buy nice items
^to be fair they nerfed his glaives damage, and made some talents less good (small attack range and no more HP talent which was kind of good on him)
90 g/min is a joke, because it means 2250 (forcestaff equivalent) for 25 min and then the game should be already over
You need Midas if you wanna get that talent. Otherwise when you reach 15, the game almost ends already.
The only thing about him being support is that.. he doesn't support, so you heavily pressures the other support. The hero lacks a lot of important quality of a support, it can't do a lot of things other support does (Roaming, Ganking, Counter Ganking, disable, initiate, low potential when behind level) The good thing about the hero is lane harassment and counter initiation. But if you can have an aggressive trilane with this hero that will be a different story.
Truth is, If you are a carry, you don't want your support to be silencer, he is that guy who doesn't do much helping you, but rather always trying to sneaky be like you.
Playing him with a rod of atos and euls makes him able to disrupt and cc, he needs to participate in most fights for the int-steal, so keeping tps at all time and moving around much would be vital... Idk, I see him doing well as 4th, proving himself a real pain in the ass to the other safelane while slowly building to be a powerhouse late if it comes to that. He would be a situational pick for this though, definitely not something you want against a lineup with good assassins (PA, Nyx, Storm)
^storm spirit, i think, is countered by global, and my problem now is actually not those heros, but this everpresent AM. This antimage meta is a bit too aggressive to my boi silencer :( but overall, i think i will manage to keep 55% wr on him as pos5

tho i agree -20% glaives of wisdom before level 25 is a big hit of nerf. cant harrass as good as before anymore, and +2s global silence is good in lower bracket
Became a ward bitch that built three Bracers to survive enemy burst, after brown boots immediately went Force Staff so I could hang behind teamfight and just force staff my way into the +2 range. Eziest win of my life I'm telling you

This intel steal talent, dear lord, I get now like >70 stolen intel per game (max was 140), so even if there is a late game i hit like a truck. Also everything else about him is just superior in meta where stats matter. So why no one talks about my boi salo?
