i wanna say there is/used to be some kind of trick to using manta in omnislash and it gives extra damage or something? Idk I do not really play jugg much anymore. I will have to look into this.

You can use every item during omnislash contrary to snowball or something like this.
It doesn't take you "out of the game" for the duration so you can be hooked, use blink and every item during it

lol i sent my juggernaut into a pinging frenzy cause i KSed and hooked his omni slash target knowing I would not have to worry about hooking jugg lol.

the thing is that jugg is not considered invunerable so he can still be hooked
