She is shit late game. But that's not why u lost. You have no farm in an hour Long game. So Maybe you should ask why do I suck late game.
For LC you have to decide carefully if u need aghs or bkb. Assuming damage is not a problem it's usually survivability. If u really can't do anything except provide dmg and lock down, be more careful in fights. Try to use your debuff to help teammates. it's really good.
Then use your damage to take towers really fast.

she has tons of lockdown, damage, and magic immunity idk what you want from her
winning duels, itemizing as a more utility core and saving other heroes with PTA. The heroes late game really isn't that bad, If you win enough duels you can go aghs and just jump in and duel someone to imeadiatly make the fight 4v5. It's not the heroes late game that sucks but rather getting to being a late game lc that sucks because she either needs farm or duel wins and both those can be hard to get, especially the higher mmr you get to.

with aghs shes one of the hardest to deal with core late game, shes strong enough to even play as a pos 1
I had a competent LC in safelane a few days ago. It was alright.
But honestly, people getting the wrong build is what kills LC in pubs, not because her skills don't scale. Moment of Courage is very powerful in the late game provided you have enough damage.

lc is not a true position 1 imo. when played safelane, she is a position 2 imo and your team should either have a pos1 mid or go for a pre 30min victory. you want at least one bursty support like skywrath, lion to get early kills in lane.
safelane legion enables your team to have 2 roaming supports. she can solo vs almost every common offlaner and even be fine vs duo offlanes
you apply permanent pressure once you have your blink. in some games you can get away with farming up to level 12 before doing rotations.
in case you think the game goes late take the exp talent and pick off anybody who dares to push a lane on his own.
do not take the duel dmg talent if you can end the game soon after hitting 25. the PTA cooldown talent is amazing!
oh and do not itemize to kill ppl in duel. itemize to survive your duel instead. i stack bkb and aghs when i get counterpicked or when theres alot of lockdown on the enemy team.
side note - if you buy aghs make sure your team knows that! spam it in party chat, shout at them and do it again right before you go for a duel
