Valve only looks at pro games and numbers. With artifact coming out I’m sure valve is not too worried about any major patches that really cause them to focus on Dota. Next major patch will prob be when next hero releases. For now it is just whatever they want to do

also nerfs have nothing to do with detection here, and both weaver and riki were plenty strong even without the invis aspect
Valve doesn't need to buff detection you just need to grow a fucking spine and buy a gem, learning not to die helps.
Do you enjoy spending all of your gold covering the map with sentries for the entire game? The causes for riki and weaver's high wr is tools like blink strike, tricks of the trade, and time laps. Those tools made killing them require EXTRA DETECTION. Now imagine riki and weaver without invis.

well ofc it can, just not as often as before, which is essential part of nerfing heroes you know
sents are actually expensive :( but i think when they increase the range of sents, its a huge buff easy for obs to be dewards etc

No, however, valve is a geeedy company, it is new, people will buy it, so valve has a bigger focus on that game rather than Dota currently. Valve is a business after all, regardless if it is less popular than Dota it is money in their pockets.
When people forget that sentries had a duration increase of 2 minutes. Also, would you like to make a suggestion as to ways to buff detection instead of just complaining.
the only problem with invi heroes is that yo uneed to rely on friends to counter it,and it uses your inventory slot
valve should add a "ward&dust backpack" that is pressable at any moment
^yeah somehow invis heroes (and items) get stupid OP lategame when nobody has slots for detection, let alone multiple types of it

Remember when observer wards cost 300? - 150
Remember when sentries lasted 2 mins and didn't stack with observer wards, so supports needed 2 item slots for it..
remember when Couriers cost 200 gold
Remember when you had to buy flying courier for 220 gold
Remember when Gems were destroyable so if you lost it you'd actually lose it
Remember when Scan's didn't exist
Remember when bounties didn't exist so supports had no way to accumulate gold
remember when Talents didn't exist so supports didn't get gpm talents
Supports have it easy nowadays, they're arguably the most buffed role in recent times.. Sentries are OP right now, watch any high level game and look at how many are on the map.

Everyone know how to counter invis heroes, except it's fucking expensive. Instead of buffing detection. They nerf riki and weaver and leave a spell with free deward in the game. Good Job valve, the game is more balanced now.
