Over-reliance on healing heroes? in General Discussion

Ever since I came back to Dota in July, I've been mindlessly spamming Huskar and Necrophos mid. Even before that, I used to play Bloodseeker mid nonstop, even heroes like DK I've played quite a bit recently. Got me back to 3K after I calibrated 2.2, but I can't really say I feel "improvement", especially since I should theoretically be stomping 2Ks, given that I was once 4K in 2017/18(putting aside factors such as the general skill level having grown from when I was 4K MMR, or my own decay in skill)

Until what rank do you think I can get away with these shenanigans of not getting regen and just playing heroes with innate regen? I feel like I've already formed some bad habits, such as not contesting runes.

Sidenote: If I ever run into ADGoku in ranked, his team gets an auto-win, given that he one-tricks Ancient Apparition. lol

You will get the feeling when the shenanigans stop working and you have to put in real efforts to improve. Techies green mine shenanigans stopped working after 3.4k, when I last climbed to ancient. LOL
My recalibration took me from legend 5 to Crusader (long break and mmr decay and blah blah) If I ever reach ancient again(very doubtful), I can farm so much salt on these forum for climbing just playing support, it would be hilarious.

Anyways, I climbed around 700 mmr, just rushing naked atos(9-10 mins) on AA every game. Make sure you make forcestaff, if we ever end up in a game. HAHAH

probably 3.5k but it really depends some cheese pick/strat/build doesn't get punished as hard as others

i can relate to the general playerbase getting better though i used to murder through 3 digit to 2k but nowadays i hover around 55-60% which felt weird even considering rust
